What were you doing in 1992? Watching cricket in the new Great Southern Stand at the MCG? Or chatting away on your $3,000 flip phone? Or were you rocking out to Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit?
In April 1992 a couple of ordinary blokes gathered over beer and pizza and Graphic Effects was born. We launched our new signage company with our snazzy new Graphic Effects logo on an old panel van… and the rest as they say is history.
Last month, to celebrate 20 years in business we had ourselves a fine ol’ shindig. The Graphic Effects team took some time out from installing building signage and applying car wraps to throw a ‘lil PARTY for ourselves and our loyal clients.
In business, it’s all too easy to get bogged down with the day-to-day and forget to give yourself a wee pat on the back when it’s warranted. Along with our clients and business network friends, we also invited along some VIP guests and heaps of fun was had by all as seen by the photos on our Facebook photo gallery.

What will the next 20 years hold for Graphic Effects?
Now we’re looking forward to the next 20 years, maybe by then we’ll be doing vehicle graphics on Jetson-style flying saucers? Who knows! But the main thing is that we value the many long term relationships we’ve built up - you don’t last 20 years if you don’t make your customers satisfied! Customers like Eva Di Medio of Penfold Motors:
To Iain and the Graphic Effect Staff.
Congratulations on a milestone in today's business world. It is an achievement and credit to the management, staff, culture and dedication to sustain the many challenges we face in today's economy. If you recall we have survived, the share crash, Y2k, GST, digital introduction. And the ones who do survive are the ones that will be there for the next 20 years. Because you move with the times you embrace technology but always remember the core of everything we do its the people. Each and everyone make a contribution and from me personally it has been a pleasure every time and from Penfold you have delivered on every occasion.
Thank you from me thank you from Penfold and thank you from the Directors.

Giving back to the community.
Graphic Effects has always liked to give back to the community whenever and however we can. We have been a friend and supporter of The Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria for over 20 years, so on the night we took the time and effort to see if we could raise some funds for their noble cause. We held a charity auction and raised a total of $4,296.
Just want to say thanks for a great night and a brilliant result, by my calculations we raised an awesome $4,296! Cannot thank you guys and your staff for such great support.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Maxwell FFIA, CFRE
