FDO Tyres & Wheels approached Graphic Effects with a concept to wrap there new VW Crafter van. FDO wanted the van to attract young people to buy wheels for their cars. Buy creating the right look with the van wrap it has achieved what they where after. Graphic Effects put the design together from a combination of supplied graphics & images, and even went as far as taking pictures of vehicles to incorporate into the design (we didn’t know we were so versatile). When one of our neighbouring businesses and valued clients, ImageBound Graphic Design, moved premises recently they engaged Graphic Effects to do the signage at their new premises. When Iain isn’t chained to the desk or out harassing clients, he is usually out sailing. Sometimes a relaxing sail, most times racing on his mate Pete’s HICK 39, a Carbon Fibre ‘weapon’ called Just A Minor HickUp (JAMHU) shown above. The boat has just undergone a complete makeover & when it came time to re-do the signage/graphics, something a little unusual/out there was requested. We sourced a new film called RAINBOW which gives off a Holographic effect AND IS WARRANTIED FOR 3 YEARS OUTDOORS. Many similar materials are only suitable for display & indoor situations as they deteriorate quickly if exposed to UV or harsh conditions.

Australian Visual Solutions (AVS) recently engaged Graphic Effects to design graphics for their fleet of company vehicles. What’s so interesting about this? AVS are our supplier of 3M vinyls which we use for vehicle signage, so it’s a real feather in our cap to be selected as THE ONES to do their vehicle graphics. The design was undertaken by our head of design & production Nick Thompson. The graphics were then printed on 3M IJ180Cv2, laminated with the matched 3M overlaminate & applied to the vehicles here in our modern, clean factory.
